ORINASE MET 1/500 TABLET
Overview: Orinase Met 1mg/500mg Tablet combines Glimepiride and Metformin to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus that is not adequately controlled by metformin alone. This combination helps lower blood sugar levels and prevent complications such as heart, kidney, and brain diseases.
Uses:
Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus not adequately controlled by metformin alone
Helps maintain normal blood sugar levels
Prevents complications associated with diabetes, such as kidney damage, heart disease, and brain diseases
Side Effects:
Common: Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), gastrointestinal discomfort (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), dizziness, headache
Less Common: Weight gain, skin rash
Rare: Severe allergic reactions, lactic acidosis (a rare but serious side effect of metformin)
Precautions:
